Flash Fiction Monthly Class

The California Imagism Gallery is proud to offer our new class Flash Fiction Monthly. On the fourth Sunday (except for holidays when they will be rescheduled) at 11am PST of each month a rotating group of professional teachers will teach a two hour session about writing flash fiction. This is an ongoing subscription-based class that costs $25 a year, plus the cost of the books assigned by each teacher. These books are from Bamboo Dart Press and will be low cost, usually less than $10. Most sessions will include a craft talk, workshop, and/or generative exercises, but these classes will vary based on the instructor.

The core faculty are John Brantingham, Stephanie Barbe Hammer, and Meg Pokrass,

John Brantingham was the first poet laureate of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, and his work has been featured in hundreds of magazines and in Writer’s Almanac and The Best Small Fictions 2016.
